For us the best places for shopping are these where handmade, natural and/or recyclable products are offered. We love the handmade bags and sunhats that are made bij locals and are beautifully decorated by the kids of the Child Protection and Development Center, a great initiative of Human Help Network. They offer their products at events such as PILC gatherings and in stalls at shopping centres. The bags are not only nice to have or to give away, you also support the lives of vulnerable children. Feels good!

Our favorite shopping centre is Terminal 21. Here lot’s of products made in Thailand are sold such as Conci Cocci (leather wallets and bags), Kunjara (handmade eco shoes), Satti wear (cotton women’s and children’s wear), Moo Chuu (flip flops of recycled material)

A’ la Campagne also sells handmade and mostly locally made Thai products such as ceramics, clothing, wooden bowls, art, fragrance diffusers and candles. In addition, they have fresh biological eggs, lose tea and homemade and healthy kombucha for sale. A’ la Campagne builds an inspiring community to increase everyone’s well-being.

If you want to buy art, we have discovered a shop packed with art made in Thailand. It’s situated on Sukhumvit in Jomtien next to Watsadu. They make some art behind their shop as well. It’s worth a visit, be aware that they don’t speak any English.
